This week’s song may throw a low blow (no pun intended…OK it was intended) but it was written with love. Kyle and Leah are really great friends. And they’re such great friends because they’re great people. We can all learn something from their example of love and sacrifice in everything they do.
Sure, they’re anal sometimes. But that’s probably also the reason they’re ridiculously talented and high achievers. Thanks for being there for all of us through thick and thin. You mean the world to us.
When I think Chuck, I think larger than life. Whether it’s the latest exploit or near death experience, no one could ever accuse him of not living life to the fullest.
Here’s to a loyal friend, a jack of all trades, and a guy who can one up you on anything. I’m really glad you’re still alive. Seriously, God’s keeping you alive for a reason. And it must be big because He keeps saving your butt.
This week’s song is for a great friend of mine. It just so happens he’s moving away in a week. I actually started writing this song for him before I knew he was moving, but the timing seems to be working out pretty well.
John is a stud with impeccable character who couldn’t tell a lie even if he tried. For each line in this song there are a hundred stories. So if something doesn’t make sense, I highly encourage you to ask around to hear something entertaining.
You are irreplaceable my friend. Our prayers are with you as you head out of town. And remember, you’re always welcome back.
Today marks the beginning of Jonathan’s blogging career. Yes, I am talking in third person. If you’re wondering what’s going on, you can click on the What’s This All About? link here or above. Or for the simple version…I love friends. I love music. Let’s put them together and see what happens.
To start things off I am posting a song I recently wrote for a good friend of mine named Davy (last name withheld for privacy concerns. But it rhymes with merry and you can use it to float across a river). He’s a great guy with a dark twist and an artist’s idiosyncrasies.
