I’ve only known Zach since my Junior year in high school, but I feel like I’ve known him my whole life. This crazy cat has got in and out of more sticky situations than there’s room to sing about.
I could tell a thousand stories about Zach. Most of our glory days were spent at the end of high school and the beginning of college. We’ve had a ton of laughs, too many tears, and some straight up craziness.
If you don’t know Zach, here he is in a nutshell: Tall, lanky, drool, smart, mama’s boy, drool, basketball, white boy, overactive spit glands, clever, competitive, name brand, goofy, creative, drools a lot, cool.
By some miracle he met an awesome woman, got married, and is now youth pastor.
One of the many good memories I have with Zach is trying to impress the girls by writing the dumbest rhymes and rapping in high school. He even dressed in drag and lip-synced to one of my songs for a talent show.
Here’s to a straight Manzano Hoodlum.
